This year Kartika begins on October 29th and ends on November 26th. The beautiful offering of lamps, and the auspicious chanting of Damodara Ashtakam, will take place during the sandhya arati at 6:30pm every evening.

In the month of Kartika one should worship Lord Damodara and daily recite the prayer known as Damodara ashtakam, which was spoken by the great sage Satyavrata Muni, and which attracts Lord Damodara to bestow His benedictions upon the Devotees.
