This year Kartik begins on October 6 and ends on November 5. The beautiful offering of lamps, and the auspicious chanting of Damodara Astakam, will take place during the Sandhya arati at 6:30pm every evening.
In the month of Kartik one should worship Lord Damodara and daily recite the prayer known as Damodara Astakam, which was spoken by the great sage Satyavrata Muni, and which attracts Lord Damodara to bestow His benedictions upon the Devotees.
