Dear Devotees,
Please accept my humble regards. May the blessings of Lord Krishna be with you and your entire family.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
I’m writing today to all the members of our ISKCON New York City community about a special opportunity for nourishing your relationship with our ISKCON Founder Acharya Srila Prabhupada.
As mentioned in our previous letter, the day after Sri Krishna Janmastami we will be celebrating Vyasa Puja for His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada, on the occasion of his 125th birth anniversary.
This celebration is part of the ongoing125th Srila Prabhupada birth anniversary celebration that began in 2021 and we would like to expand our observance of this most auspicious event.
A traditional centerpiece of the observance of Vyasa Puja is the offering of homages in gratitude to Srila Prabhupada. For this purpose, all devotees are invited to gather at Sri Sri Radha Govinda Mandir to participate in this offering and other Vyasa Puja ceremonies.
In addition, as there is limited time for devotees to speak, we are requesting all of our community members to prepare a written or illustrated offering that we can compile into a book to be presented to Srila Prabhupada on that day.
We will have two books, one for the adult members of our community and one especially for all the children who may choose to simply present drawings for Srila Prabhupada’s pleasure.
After offering these books to Srila Prabhupada, they will be kept in the temple for everyone to view and appreciate the devotional service of our members.
There is no special qualification required to submit an offering and they may be submitted in any language or form you choose.
Offerings can be brought to the temple directly, sent to us by mail, or submitted using the online form linked below.

To give us enough time to prepare the books and decorate them, we have a deadline of Friday, August 12, a week before Janmastami.
If you would like to participate in assembling and decorating the books or have any questions please contact Pancharatna das at pancharatna@iskconnyc.com.
We hope that you will take advantage of this opportunity to enhance your connection with Srila Prabhupada, with whom we all share an unlimited debt of gratitude for the gift of devotional service he has given to us.
Hare Krishna! Sri Sri Radha Govinda Dev Ki Jai!
Your servant, in the service of Sri Sri Radha Govinda,
Hansarupa Das
